The night before we played in the superbowl game the coaches asked the boys what football ment to them. Most of the boys said things like getting to hit someone and not getting into trouble, being with friends, having fun, etc. Tonight we had our end of season banquet and it was the coaches turn to say what football ment to them. Mark put alot of consideration and preparation into what he said.
"Football to me is a lot of things. Teamwork, committment, toughness, and passion. It's sleepless nights and year round preparation. It's also the sights and sounds of being at Bullhead, where you are surrounded by thousands of kids with the same dream of being a champion. It's the smell of the grass, the rain that shortens practice, the crisp air of a fall morning game, and even the horrible smell coming from those gloves. Football is an emotional roller coaster riding the highs and enduring the lows. But the best part of youth football to me is being a parent watching our boys compete and learn the lessons of life as they grow into young men."
All of our coaches are extraordinary they have taken a group of talented young men and turned them into a team, a group of people that desire to work together to accomplish something great.
