Matthew went on a Field trip to the Sandia Mountains about two weeks ago. I took the day off to go with because it is a great Field trip that is saved for the 5Th grade. I can still remember going with Jesse when he was in the 5Th grade. We had a great guide who taught the kids allot and was really fun. We got to see bear and coyote poop was just fine with me I did not want to run into the real thing on our hike. When we were eating lunch we were surrounded by wasps, they kept telling us to be calm and not swat at them, but it was hard when they are eating your sand witch with you. Alex and Matt have been friends for life and our in the same class for the first time.

Happy Halloween Part Two

After going trick-or-treating, running into friends and having a good time Matthew and his two friends Tanner and Josh sat down on the living room floor and began to sort and trade there candy. Not only was this really cute but it reminded me so much of my Mom who has always loved to sort things, ever her Halloween candy when she was a kid. It is good to see that big 5Th grade boys can still in joy a good round of candy shop.

10-1 what a great season

I did not get allot of pictures of our Superbowl game that we played last week. We lost but it was a great season and we all had allot of fun. We will always have next year.

I just let him and one friend go to eat, witch means driving in trafic by himself for the first time ever. I know that people told me that your kids grow up very fast, but I do not think that I really knew how fast untill now. I will be waiting by the window untill he get home today.

Homecoming 08

Jesse went to homecoming again this year after swearing he would not go and had a GREAT time. This year he went with just guys and said it was a blast. I do not have to many pictures because my camera batterie went dead, but I should get some more soon from the other moms. I am having a little bit of a hard time letting go, but i know I can't change the inevitable. His friends drove to dance and to breakfast afterword and they were all in by their 1:30am curfew so I guess it went ok. I will post more pictures when I get them.
