My Girls

Bay

Silver

I do not have any daughters of my own, but my two little dogs Silver and Bay are as close as it can get to having girls. Silver is a four year old Chihuahua mix and Bay is a four month old mini pin American rat terrier mix. For those of you who do not know, my husband is a huge Raider fan. Silver got her name because she is all black “Black and Silver”. Bay got her name for the Bay area and the Raider’s first round pick this year “Darius Hayward Bey”

Mark, Matthew and I drove 1235 miles to Provo Utah and back over the last four days. Matthew had qualified in the New Mexico state track meet for the regional 10 track meet (Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and part of Texas). We had a good time and Matthew did great at the track meet. He took 8th overall in shot put and 5th overall in discus. On the way home we stopped and spent the night at Abe’s fishing motel along the San Juan River to some fishing. We stayed up late and got up early and did not catch even one stinking fish. We did have ever get about 5000 mosquito bites. Jesse had decided to stay in Albuquerque with my dad. He had a good time and was also able to earn some extra money and hang out with friends which was a win win situation for him.

Happy Fourth of July

May today find you all in a place that you can be happy. Celebrate life for what you do have, and not for what you do not have. Enjoy your family and make time to slow down and be thankful.
