Mark took Matthew and four of his friends camping for his 12th birthday at a lake about an hour away from Albuquerque. They had a great time and enjoyed spending the night in a tent, eating smores, fishing but not catching, and swimming. It was the first birthday night that I did not spend with Matthew, but I know he is getting older and had a great time with his dad and friends.

Good things still happen to good people

I want to wish Mark good luck at his first day at his new job. He started at big J today just less than two months after the company he had worked at for the past 11 years closed their doors. Perseverance, good friends, a wonderful family, and faith that things would work out lead us to this day.

Way past my bed time

Well it 12:15am and I am waiting for Jesse to get home from the Blink 182 concert. This was his first solo trip to a concert and all was well until……. He lost his keys in the mosh pit, called me at 10:30pm to bring him his spare, I was the ONLY car attempting to go into the concert, security sucked and was being a total jerk about the whole thing, when I finally got in and finally got Jesse his keys I was stuck in 1000’s of cars driven by teenagers or young adults amped from a great concert trying to get home. I made it home but now have to wait for Jesse to get home because he too was stuck in all the traffic. I hope he had fun at the concert I forgot to ask.

Happy Birthday to the World's Best Sister

I wanted to let my little sister know that I love her very much and hope that she has a wonderful birthday. I can't wait to see you. Lot's of love and happy birthday.

Homecoming 09

Jesse went o homecoming this weekend. He went with a group of 25 boys and girls that were all just friends, no couples. They all met to take pictures at one of the girl’s houses, went to dinner at an Italian restaurant and then off to the dance. It is sad and happy all at the same time this was his junior homecoming only one more to go, my how the time flies.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great weekend. Matt played his football game against Manzano with only 14 team mates and won 19-6. We went fishing at Cochiti Lake on Sunday. And got yard and house work done Today. It was overall a good weekend.
